Uniform Policy

Concord Christian Academy has a uniform policy for all students. It is our belief that uniforms improve the Christian learning environment in several important aspects:

  1. Reduce non-academic distractions.

  2. Less stress on parents.

  3. Improved relations between students and teachers.

  4. Improved feeling of community.

  5. Safety and reduced student behavioral problems.

All uniforms must be ordered directly from the CCA website or via the school office
Accessories including belts, shoes, socks, etc may be purchased anywhere according to the guidelines below:


  1. PRE-SCHOOL AND ELEMENTARY UNIFORM POLICY (K2 through 5th grade):

GIRLS:

  1. Jumpers: Ordered directly from CCA website or via school office. They must come to the bottom of the knee when standing or sitting.

  2. Blouses: Ordered directly from CCA website or via school office. Blouses can be short or long sleeved.

  3. Sweaters: Ordered directly from CCA website or via school office.

  4. Footwear – Preschool (K2 through K5): Pre-school children may wear sneakers every day.

  5. Footwear – Elementary (1st through 5th): Elementary children may not wear sneakers except for gym class. Sandals are not permitted due to safety reasons. Otherwise, all shoes must be brown, black or navy. Socks or Tights: Navy blue or White. No other hosiery is acceptable.

BOYS:

  1. Pants: Ordered directly from CCA website or via school office.

  2. Shirts: Ordered directly from CCA website or via school office. Shirts may be short or long sleeved.

  3. Sweaters: Ordered directly from CCA website or via school office.

  4. Footwear – Preschool (K2 through K5): Pre-school children may wear sneakers

  5. Footwear – Elementary (1st through 5th): Elementary children may not wear sneakers except for gym class. Sandals are not permitted due to safety reasons. Otherwise, all shoes must be brown, black or navy.

  6. Belts: Black or Brown (Mandatory 1st through 5th grades)


  1. MIDDLE & HIGH SCHOOL UNIFORM POLICY (6th – 12th Grades):

GIRLS:

  1. Skirts: Ordered directly from CCA website or via school office. They must come to the bottom of the knee when standing or sitting. Parents are responsible for their child wearing the proper size and length garment; short skirts will not be permitted.

  2. Blouses: Ordered directly from CCA website or via school office. Blouses can be short or long sleeved.

  3. Sweaters: Ordered directly from CCA website or via school office.

  4. Footwear: Middle & high school children may not wear sneakers except for gym class. Sandals are not permitted due to safety reasons. Otherwise, all shoes must be brown, black or navy. Clogs, slippers, etc. are not permitted.

  5. Socks: Navy blue or White. Nylons are also acceptable. Navy Blue or White Leggings are also permitted during winter months. (December thru March)

  6. Gym Attire: Plain tee shirts (light blue, white, yellow, or navy) or Concord Christian Academy tee shirts, knee length shorts (navy blue or khaki color) and sneakers.

BOYS:

  1. CASUAL DAY UNIFORM (SPIRIT DAY):

Many times during the school year and all Fridays will be casual day. Casual day attire consists of the following:

Girls: Girls may wear denim jean skirts to below the knee when standing and sitting.

Boys: Denim pants

All: CCA t-shirts, sweatshirts, hoodies, and uniform shirts. Sneakers are allowed.

The uniform policy was written with you, the parent, in mind. It is as simple as it can possibly be and hopefully will make your back to school shopping less stressful. It is important that all students are in the proper uniform. All students are expected to be in uniform the first day of school and each and every day of the school year. The only exceptions will be on designated spirit or casual days. Any student in uniform violation is subject to demerits. Only those uniforms mentioned are permitted to be worn. If you are in question, please contact the school office.
